A very traditional event known to few foreigners is taking off this Easter Monday (17th April) behind the Palace of the Grand Duke on the small square of the ‘Fishmarket’. It’s the perfect occasion to get out after the long family feasts on Sunday.
Grab a ‘Peckvillchen’, little handmade earthenware whistles shaped like birds that were traditionally exchanged between lovers. The event kicks off in the morning around 9 or 10am and attracts larger crowds.
